Algebra 1 - Zeros of Quadratic Functions

This post explains and gives practice opportunities related to TEKS A.7B:

describe the relationship between the linear factors of quadratic expressions and the zeros of their associated quadratic functions
 

Instruction

Students learn to use the factored form [f(x) = a(x-u)(x-v)] of the quadratic function to find zeros in quadratic equations.

 

STAAR Practice
