This post explains and give practice opportunities related to TEKS A.2I:
write systems of two linear equations given a table of values, a graph, and a verbal description
Students take what they know about linear equations and find that intersecting linear equations have a solution that satisfies both equations. They learn to write these systems of equations given graphs, tables, and verbal descriptions (word problems).
Between 2016 and 2022 (including redesign practice), this readiness standard has been tested 15 times on the STAAR test. Videos explaining the problems can be found below.
