In a previous post, I shared my concern about a lack of oral language development during the COVID-19 pandemic. To that end, here's an idea on how to use 3rd grade math content to encourage discussion and conversation.

TEKS 3.3D - compose and decompose a fraction a/b with a numerator greater than zero and less than or equal to b as a sum of parts 1/b;
