In a previous post, I shared my concern about a lack of oral language development during the COVID-19 pandemic. To that end, here's an idea on how to use 3rd grade math content to encourage discussion and conversation.

TEKS 3.3A - represent fractions greater than zero and less than or equal to one with denominators of 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 using concrete objects and pictorial models, including strip diagrams and number lines;
