This post explains and give practice opportunities related to TEKS A.5A:
solve linear equations in one variable, including those for which the application of the distributive property is necessary and for which variables are included on both sides
Students practice the steps needed to solve an equation that requires the use of the distributive property and possibly has variables on both sides of the equal sign.
